In the darkness of my early days,
Lost in trauma, trapped in a maze,
Depression, anxiety, a constant fight,
Loneliness my companion every night.
Life was heavy, filled with pain,
A struggle to survive, all in vain.
Then you appeared, my guiding light,
Turning my darkness into bright.
You gave me a reason to try once more,
To live, to thrive, to open a door,
To fight for myself, to heal & grow,
With your love, I began to know.
Strong and powerful, I became,
With your support, I shed my shame.
Now I serve and help others heal,
Because of the love you made me feel.
Deeply, I Love you, words can’t say,
You changed my world in every way.
If my tough childhood led me to you,
I’d live it again, for this love so true.
